Aiming to create 300 startups in 3 years, HK Tech 300 provides educational and growth opportunities and translates CityU research results and IP into practical applications. Succeeded to reach the 300 startup target in two years, HK Tech 300 continue looking for aspiring entrepreneurs among CityU students, alumni, research staff and others* to ignite their entrepreneurship journey.
Key figures about HK Tech 300
Offering funding opportunities from HKD 100,000 up to HKD 10 Million to eligible startups, HK Tech 300 allows startups to grow, create prototypes, and establish a sustainable business backed by a wide range of industry mentors. Trusting the program comes as a convenience, having over 90 startups achieved over HK$ 1,000,000 of angel fund investments from external sources. Looking over the funding opportunities, startups can tap into over 80 collaborators and supporters such as PWC, Deloitte, MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node, and Hong Kong Monetary Authority. In developing products and services, startups can get a chance to get public exposure, seen by over 360 media coverages, articles, and newspapers that have discussed HK Tech 300 across Asia Pacific.

As part of the HK Tech 300, we would enhance Expando's business model to help startups manage their channel partnership program. We aim to connect them with more business experts, thus connecting them with their dream clients, and keep tabs with the experts' performance through an all-in-one dashboard.
